SAFE Consultancy is a small, analytical engineering consultancy, specializing in finite element analysis (with the ANSYS program) and fracture mechanics. It is based in the East Midlands UK. SAFE was established in 1987, and has experience of several different industry and analysis types (examples are shown opposite). We have experience of finite element analysis ranging from linear elastic analysis to creep, dynamics & heat transfer; and from beam elements to 3D fracture elements. Fracture and fatigue assessments are performed to such standards as BS 7910, BS 7608, R6 and API 579.
